This was the second in a series of photography 101 workshops I have been offering this Summer. It was a great group of 10 ladies…9 moms and one aspiring photographer. We had lovely little Ryan as our mini-model (featured here). Our topics covered everything from the basis workings of a manual camera to artistic composition and elements of design that create more intriguing images.
There is one remaining workshop in August for anyone who is interested :))
Last weekend I hosted a workshop for a local moms’ group at my studio. They surprised their friend for her birthday with a full day of fun. One of their stops for the day was at my studio for a 2 hour short and sweet tutorial on how to make better photographs of your kids.

A few weeks ago I was given the privilege to speak at a Beauty Night sponsored by Bright Event Gallery and Imoni Events.
The focus was on educating brides about the wedding day and how to look your best with tips and tricks from the different wedding professionals.

I’m going to be speaking at the upcoming Beauty Night for Brides.
If you are planning a wedding, be sure to check it out. It’s going to be extremely informative.
I’ll specifically be talking about how to find a photographer who is right for you, wedding time-lines based on the light, and tips to looking good in front of the lens.
Also speaking will be a hair stylist, make-up artist, and wedding coordinator to discuss the wedding from their perspective. If you’re interested, give them a call as space is limited.
