This beautiful dalmation was adopted through pawplacement (a local no-kill foster agency) by a generous couple who now fosters dogs through the organization. Her name, Molly, was inspired by the movie Pretty in Pink, hence the backdrop color ;-)

I donated my time on Tuesday to photograph 6 dogs and a small litter of cats to aid in their adoption process. Some of these animals have been in foster care for over 6 months. Part of the reason, is their former images make them look unfriendly and unapproachable despite the fact that they are very sweet. I'm hoping that by giving them a new look I'll be able to help bring attention to these darling pups who are desperately looking for a stable home.
I will be giving 8x10 images to the kind souls who adopt these dogs.
For more information on these and other dogs who are up for adoption, please go to www.petfinder.org.
thanks!

I thought you would enjoy these shots from my latest pet session.
The shoot was for the cover of a calendar issued by Petfinder, an organization that helps people find foster dogs and cats. All proceeds from the sale of their calendar will go to their organization. For more info on them or where to find out how to adopt these adorable little pups, go to www.Petfinder.org.
