One of my favorite weddings of the year was featured today in the Style Me Pretty blog.

This wedding had it all…an incredibly gorgeous couple, idyllic setting, loving friends and family, and oh so awesome details.

Fantastic coordination by Victoria Canada Weddings and Events!

This just arrived at the studio the other day…it’s a new book we offer called the Pure Album.  I consider it a modern way to present and preserve a family session.  I love how simple and elegant these books showcase the session.

These are custom designed and hand assembled gallery matted albums.

A few weeks back I was asked to put together a shoot for the cover image for the next Pubes, CD.

Here are the results!  Apparently the DJ played the song on the radio and said it was the best cover shot he had ever seen…I’m guessing it was the half naked girl on the bed but hey, whatever works.  We were going for a stereo-typical  rockstar, morning after image…featuring (of course) a fog machine and a lot of debauchery.

There is a theme to the first image that unifies all of the objects in the shot.  If anyone can guess it I’ll send you a brand spankin new, Pubes CD!!

I am so excited to announce that the new Phoenix Bride and Groom magazines have finally(!) come out.  I was so honored to be selected as the feature photographer for the cover and 6 page style section.  They also added 4 extra pages of my images from the shoot featuring dresses from Destiny’s Bride.

The set  was a Marie Antoinette inspired shoot, photographed at the Wrigley Mansion.  Victoria Canada was the master mind behind the decor, along with Petal Pushers who did the flowers and Will Zecco and Corrinna Cook who did hair and make-up.  To see more of the line up Click Here

Robert Black was kind enough to lend some amazing antique jewelry from his store Fashion by Robert Black.

These are some larger images from my session for Phoenix Bride and Groom…my personal faves.

The model was the gorgeous Daynalyn at The Agency Arizona

My friends at Bright Bokeh are working on a video for me and swung by the shoot for a bit to get some shots of me behind the lens.  Take a peek at this link if you’re interested in seeing more….

Oh la vie!  How we love you!

We send off 100 of our most beautified artistically enhanced images and in return they send us a masterpiece!

These books are completely custom created, designed by hand and really need to be seen and felt to be appreciated.  La Vie takes traditional prints and inlays them in a one-of-a-kind modern wedding album that would knock the socks off grandma’s traditional matted book.  They are truly stunning and we run around the office like 5 year-olds on Christmas day when they arrive from their overseas journey.   Oh, and notice the Prada-like detailing on the box….so lush!

This was the second in a series of photography 101 workshops I have been offering this Summer.  It was a great group of 10 ladies…9 moms and one aspiring photographer.  We had lovely little Ryan as our mini-model (featured here).  Our topics covered everything from the basis workings of a manual camera to artistic composition and elements of design that create more intriguing images.

There is one remaining workshop in August for anyone who is interested :))

Our newest Boudoir Box just came in and we are so stoked!!  It looks incredible.

The box features 20 matted images in a custom made Japanese silk box with a silk ribbon bow.  All box and ribbon colors are chosen separately and the box is custom made to hold the desired amount of matted images.

I think this is a great way to showcase a boudoir session…My suggestion is set up an easel in a discreet location either in the bathroom or private office and rotate the images every few weeks.

I was told by this client that her husband “Loved!” his birthday gift!
